Commission pieces are drawn on hot press illustration board using either charcoal or pen & ink. I usually leave a 1 to 1.5 inch border for framing purposes.

I may use a little artistic license and modify or change the background somewhat. The pictures that you see on this website are examples of my style, so you may expect similar results.

Basic commission price is for picture only. Matting and framing are extra. I purchase custom-order framing materials exclusively from American Frame. Please see their website to request a catalog to choose styles and colors.

For a quote, please send a copy of the picture that you would like to commission (please no originals, as the cat has been known to knock over the ink bottle). Also include details as to size, if you would prefer the picture to be done in charcoal or pen & ink, and if you would like it framed and matted. I reserve the right to refuse any commission at my own discretion.
